The name Lōk Tyi̽ktfol Kez is derived from the Wood Elvish language, as Lōk Tyi̽ktfol Kez was founded by Ghragno Tumrodu, who was culturaly Wood Elven.

Overview

Lōk Tyi̽ktfol Kez was founded durring the early 17th century in early winter of the year 1647, by Ghragno Tumrodu. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Ghragno Tumrodu.

Lōk Tyi̽ktfol Kez was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the early 17th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Lōk Tyi̽ktfol Kez is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature stone brick construction with most buildings posessing towers, turrets, dormers, and wide wrap-around porches. An extreem emphasis on decorative features and emblishments can be seen even on the poorest of homes and makes even the most humble of structures seem a bit regal.

Lōk Tyi̽ktfol Kez is buildings are located arround a single spacious packed earth mainstreet which forms a clockwise spiral to give the town a over all circular shape. The town emploies a series of defencive earthworks, spikes, and fences to provide some protection against wild beasts and smaller groups of intelegent foes. The town's minimaly adiquite are visibly old, but also obviously maintained semi-regularly. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with ocasional mantance of the towns defences.

Lōk Tyi̽ktfol Kez has the unmistakable air of a town on its last legs. Everything is a bit slipshod and ramshackle. Everyone is at work, or drinking. No one has anything in their eyes other than fear and despair. Whatever industry once fueled Lōk Tyi̽ktfol Kez ’s existence has dried up and the town is drifting down the stream of history as it dries up.

The style used is best known for its functional shapes, abstract shapes used sparingly for decor, simple color schemes, holistic design, and basic industrial materials. Its simple designs were created to be beautiful, functional, and mass-producible. The style used little to no embellishment or ornamentation, instead drawing attention to the streamlined design, such as flat roofs to create a simple, geometric look. The simplicity masks the style's nearly sinister functionality, as every last feature is designed to guide the people living in the building in how to make the most efficient use of the structure.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Lōk Tyi̽ktfol Kez was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Lōk Tyi̽ktfol Kez lost 252 people, 326 livestock, and 46 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 38, when members of Lōk Tyi̽ktfol Kez's militia enacted an operation to escort a particular solgiers group to a safe location. The operation was complicated by a natural disaster interrupted the operation, shattering unit cohesion. The conflict ended with the defense of the strategic location against a siege, which ended in a crushing defeat for Lōk Tyi̽ktfol Kez's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Lōk Tyi̽ktfol Kez's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
